Kliphuis is situated in the Sneeuberg Nature Reserve, a 14 500 hectare private reserve, home to Nguni, a variety of antelope species, zebra, wildebeest and many other wildlife. Kliphuis provides an authentic yet luxurious Karoo experience and is ideal for a family or couple looking for a tranquil hideaway. It can accommodate up to 8 guests. This is a place to escape from the rat race, write, read, take long walks or simply relax. Elegant interiors with intricate stonework, reeded ceilings, wooden furniture, and luxurious linens contribute to the character of this idyllic escape. It is completely isolated from any buildings, stylishly decorated and well equipped.

At Kliphuis you are far away from everything. The nearest ‘main’ gravel road is about 4 km’s away. This house offers complete privacy and everything you need. Pets by prior arrangement only.

The Poplars is an old farmhouse which has been restored. It can accommodate up to 11 guests, but its warm character also makes it a wonderful private getaway for couples or smaller groups. Rates vary depending on the number of rooms required, allowing for both small and large groups.

A large lawn rolls into a copse of poplar trees, which protects the house from prevailing winds. A swimming pool fashioned out of an old raised dam with turquoise water and red umbrellas makes an idyllic spot to cool off with a view of the Karoo plains. Large, spacious rooms and a variety of eating and entertainment areas both indoor and outdoor make Poplars Farmhouse ideal for special occasions.
Poplars is 100m from Karoo Cottage (sleeping 6) which makes the two houses ideal for a larger group wanting to be close enough, but still have privacy."
